AMPLab is pleased to announce that we have joined the roster of “Gold Sponsors” for the first Spark Summit, to be held on Dec 2, 2013 in Downtown San Francisco. The summit is clear recognition that the Spark community has grown well beyond its roots in the AMPLab, but that the lab intends to continue to play a large role in the community.

The summit is intended to bring together developers, users and other interested parties from the greater Spark community, and will cover Spark, Shark, Spark Streaming and other related components.   There is also a half-day Spark training session on December 3, the day after the summit.
