One of Tachyon‘s goals is to accelerate the performance of big data applications. With a pluggable interface, it can work with many existing storage systems, such as HDFS, Amazon S3. Recently, GlusterFS from Redhat just announced that integration with Tachyon. We are happy to see this and we look forward to integrating with more storage systems!
