The Winter 2013 issue of California Magazine is focused on “The Information Boom“.  The issue includes a nice article about the AMPLab entitled   “Wrangling Big Data: A Berkeley lab is hard at work making sense of the information age“.   We also get a mention or two in the main overview article that covers data research all around campus and features quotes from CS luminaries such as Dick Karp and EECS Dept Chair and former Radlab resident David Culler.   It all makes for interesting reading over the holidays!
