AMPLab’s Michael Franklin was recently interviewed by INFORMS ORMS Tomorrow, an on-line magazine for students in Operations Research, Management Science and Analytics.   As stated in the introduction:  “Dr. Franklin addresses what makes big data an exciting area of research, some of the research challenges faced in this area, if big data is a fad, and what students should do if they are interested in studying big data and analytics.”
