O’Reilly’s Ben Lorica’s latest (of this writing) post on the popular Radar blog covers the challenges of building and deploying large-scale machine learning pipelines.   Among other other topics he discusses the AMPLab’s ML Pipelines project, some cool stuff that Ben Recht is doing on improving the robustness and performance of such pipelines and a shout out to Velox project that is currently under development in the lab.
