The system demonstration: ActiveClean: An Interactive Data Cleaning Framework for Modern Machine Learning by Sanjay Krishnan, Michael Franklin, Ken Goldberg, Jiannan Wang and Eugene Wu has won the Best Demonstration Award at this year’s ACM SIGMOD Conference.   ActiveClean is the latest component of the SampleClean project on human-in-the-loop data cleaning exploiting sampling – one of the main directions of the “People” aspect of our Algorithms, Machines and People research agenda.
