On February 4th, Silicon Angle ran a Morning News Watch segment about the Top 5 Open Source Projects in Big Data.   In the interview, Abhishek Mehta, Founder of analytics company Tresada, named Spark as one of the 5, and stated that it was a “Must Know About, Must Use” system for Data Scientists, noting that his company’s data scientists all write algorithms using Spark.
